Passion for Greenery
At Trap House Plants, what started as a simple love for plants has blossomed into a way of life. We’re a chosen family, a Black couple who found joy in the beauty of nature and the thrill of caring for carnivorous plants. It all began with buying a few plants of our own, learning everything we could, and immersing ourselves in the world of "Trap Plants" by attending plant shows, and connecting with fellow plant lovers virtually and in person.

As our passion grew, so did our collection. We started growing our own seeds and cultivating plant families of our own.
For us, plants are more than just a hobby, they're a bridge between our modern indoor lives and the beauty of the natural world. Caring for our plant babies brings us a sense of fulfillment, joy, and connection to nature.
